My family went camping at Whitecliffs Domain. It was awesome. It was the first time we had been away camping. We were really excited. It was fun sleeping in sleeping bags all together in our tent.
Mum and Dad were a bit worried about how we would go without any screen time for three days. It wasn't a problem – we just played in nature all day long.
We got to paddle and climb over the big rocks in the river. We rode down it on an inner tube with our mum. The best bit was the rope swing. It was fun to jump off of it and splash into the water.
We saw lots of little fish in the water and some Fantails in the trees. We also heard some Cicadas and found their skins on the trees. I can’t wait to go back there.
