My class and I went on a trip to Waitomo caves. We had been learning about stalactites and stalagmites, and how they are formed.
I am only going to tell you about one of the caves we went in. If I told you about then all it would take you a day to read this.
It was dark. Luckily we all wore head torches so we could see where we were going. There was water all around me. It was almost up to my chest. We had been walking like this for nearly 15 minutes when the ground started slope up and suddenly the water was only up to our ankles. Our guide told us to sit on a rock and turn our head lights off.
It was like magic, the glow worms were so beautiful!
I would say this trip was the best of my life.
