The old cheese grater had grating bits on it that looked like front feathers on a ruru so I decided to make Owlo’s body out of it.
I made big yellow glowing eyes out of bottle tops which I stuck to the handle. I decided to use some sausage forks to make sharp claws for catching rats, wings out of old fabric and his beak is a big fluffy Hare tail from Otaki beach.
Owlo says "oooo ooo".
