A few years ago my cat brought in a gold striped gecko from our garden.
Fortunately, it survived the encounter with my cat, which I'm very glad about. I researched some information about them and found out that they are often found in flax bushes, so I made sure to include that in my drawing.
The gecko was very friendly and even let us hold it for a little bit which surprised me because it’s a wild animal. This lizard is endangered so I feel very lucky to have seen it.
