My family and I went to Castle Hill. Castle Hill is a good place for rock climbing, tramping and seeing nature.
If you are lucky you can sometimes see a Gecko or two. You need to have good grip if you are going to Castle Hill. I slipped on the ice 2 times.
There is also Castle Hill Village around the corner from it. Every single house in Castle Hill Village is made out of wood and two were made out of logs. There were heaps of people. At Castle Hill there was even a rock shaped like Snoopy!
It takes an hour and a half to get to Castle Hill from Christchurch. It was a bit cold in Castle Hill. Always remember to bring band aids and warm clothes if you are going to Castle Hill.
