My name is Juno. I am 9 years old and I live in the bush in Northland. One of the weirdest species near me is a worm! Garden worms are pretty common, but this one is different because it's GINORMOUS! It's a native worm, and I saw quite a few of them this Summer, I think because they were having a hard time with the drought and coming out of their burrows. The one I'm holding was in a dry spot on a trail and I moved it to a wet patch of moss. Hopefully it survived.
