  • Easy-Grip Zip-Pulls Our Easy-Grip Zip-Pulls have a handy finger loop. The rubber and cord zip pulls make less noise as the pulls don’t rattle in the wind.
  • Made for New Zealand Climates Constructed for New Zealand's extreme weather and ever-changing landscapes from mountain to sea.
  • Mat Included A comfortable mat is included with this product!
  • Seam sealed The seams of your dome tent or shelter are the most vulnerable for water leakage. We use a custom-developed method of heat-sealing tape over the seams to maintain waterproofing, resulting in maximum protection against the elements at all points.
  • Fibreglass poles Our StructureFlex fibreglass poles are the largest diameter possible, relative to the size of the tent. This ensures you get maximum strength at minimum weight. They are also coloured to match the coloured pole sleeves.
  • Power mesh pole sleeves Power mesh pole sleeves make it easier to feed the poles through. If you were to cause a rip in the material it will not tear like a polyester pole sleeve, meaning you can continue to use your tent!
  • PVC skylights/windows Skylight windows are 2-way, with clear PVC on the outside and a 'privacy' screen on the inside. This adds valuable light in all weather conditions but maintains privacy.

  • The high life Nige

Purchased the tuatara plateau Rtt, after looking at numerous other Rtt's couldn't help but not go the hard top way, at first didn't even notice it on the ute even with severe winds at the time, only noticed it with a side wind. Setting up is incredibly easy just do as it tells you nothing more job done. Make your bed go explore etc. Packing down is once again incredibly easy, only fiddly bit is tucking in the excess tent when getting the sides away but deffintly no major, also after seeing other people needing to climb all over there vehicles Packing away, I felt I'd made the right decision with the kiwi camping Rtt, first night we had killer winds so bad people at camp bailed during the night, We stuck it out not sure if that that was the right decision or not who knows, But the Rtt survived I wouldn't deliberately set up in that sort of weather just unfortunate it came in hard and fast during the night, to survive that its 100% credit to the build quality of the Rtt Its good quality and love the sky views at night especially when its clear, Recommended yes
Thanks for taking the time to write such an in-depth review Nige! We're stoked to hear you're enjoying your Plateau. Wishing you all the best for your future roof tent adventures! Many thanks, Kiwi Camping team
