We have used the Takahe 15 Tent over two seasons now. A duration of about 4 weeks and are very happy with the easy setup required. Certainly not hard work. Plenty of room internally and as im over 6 foot tall, I can stand up without a stoop. Stands up to the wind and the rain easily as we found out in Taupo this Feb. Our one gripe is that the front door although great when the sun is out, is a real pain when it pouring with rain. Because it is a sloped door, every time someone un zips it to either enter or exit, the flap will go to the vertical. ie let all the water in. An easy solution would be to have a vertical door. With four days of constant rain, i had to put a gazebo over the front door to keep it dry. Apart from the rain, a really good tent with plenty of room and easy to erect.

I want to say how great this tent is. I have been camping up north and caught up in Red Alert rain warning with heavy wind gusts. The tent handled the conditions well and kept us all safe and dry. I can highly recommend this tent. Thanks, Kiwi Camping; you certainly have quality products made for kiwi families. Keep up the great work.
