Designed by New Zealanders for New Zealand conditions. Here at Kiwi Camping we test our tents for months in New Zealand, in all-weather situations, before finalising the specifications. This ensures they perform so you can be assured of comfort in any situation.
As New Zealand weather is one of the most changeable in the world, our products need to be able sustain the changes in these weather conditions. We do this in two ways: All products are used by our development team to make sure they can stand the rigours that we put them through and they are also tested in production.
The Kakapo 5 had over 8 weeks weather testing through the winter and passed with ease.
In production all materials are tested to the required standards of the specification through internal tests and in the case of our high quality tents they are 100% quality checked too.
Our design team are always looking for ways to improve our products. We take feedback from our retailers and customers seriously, and we also travel internationally to ensure our tents are world leading in terms of design and performance.
Our tents are unique – they are not Australian, or UK or USA tents being used in New Zealand. They are New Zealand designed for New Zealand conditions for New Zealand people – Kiwis!
