    So what is 'blackout'? As the name suggests, blackout is not only the colour but the effect of the coating on some of our tent and rooftop tent flies that work to block sunlight through its light-diffusing properties.

    All of our blackout tent flies have a Poly Urethane coating, dramatically reducing the effect of sunlight inside the tent. This means waking up in a tent has never been more comfortable, cool or dark! With a UPF50 UV coating, our blackout flies block sunlight and its harmful rays from reaching inside the tent, keeping you cooler on hot days.
